DESIGNS FOR INTERACTIVE EXPERIENCES

Traveling Museum Exhibit:

We Are… Bridging, Belonging, & Building Community is a groundbreaking, interactive, educational, traveling museum exhibit produced by Common Circles that can be customized for any town or community. This traveling experience uses the arts, conversation, technology, and storytelling to increase empathy, reduce bias and antisemitism, build communities of belonging, and help people get to know one another better. We Are… features interactive biographies from USC Shoah Foundation’s Dimensions in Testimony, an art and photography-based exhibit highlighting our multi-layered identities, and local survivors’ stories. It is a creative antidote to the rising tide of antisemitism.

The We Are White Plains: Bridging, Belonging, & Building Community exhibit was embedded into the walls, hallways and classrooms of three schools in the White Plains School District in White Plains, New York.

Interactive Art Experience:

This experience gives participants the opportunity to better understand and identify who they are, how they see themselves, why they identify themselves as they do, how they represent who they are, and how they see others. The end goal is greater cohesion and harmony among the participants who will have an increased ability to engage constructively across their differences and to recognize and acknowledge their shared humanity. Can be created and displayed inside and outside.

Common Threads Card Game:

Common Threads is an innovative multi-player character card game linking P!nk, Malcolm X and you. The objective is to highlight that our identities are multi-layered and made up of unique and diverse factors, as well as to focus on all that we have in common. This game can be made into a digital one.

The designs have been created, ideated and vetted for businesses, universities, museums, and faith-based institutions with a team of psychologists, DEI experts, and professors, and include indoor and outdoor experiences, community parks, as well as large and small space interiors. In addition to physical interactives, Common Circles creates and facilitates workshops, produces video content, has created an educational card game, and is currently working to produce an app to be used in corporations, schools, retail organizations, hospitals, police departments, community organizations, and beyond. Common Circles was a finalist in Mastercard’s 2018 Catapult Competition.

Traveling Mobile Experience:

Common Circles has designed a high-tech experience to take place in a double-wide, expandable trailer (or pop-up space), providing flexibility when traveling to schools, corporations, faith-based institutions, municipal offices, and community venues across the country.
