MY STORY

For over 25 years my career focus has been directing and producing for television, including sports shows, documentaries, various series, non-profit videos, and short films. I have produced and directed many profiles covering a varied host of individuals, including celebrities, for most of the major networks and have won quite a few awards. Even before I spent many years at MTV, music played a big part in my life, and I always love incorporating great songs into most of what I create. When my daughter was nearing time for her bat mitzvah, I decided that instead of a montage I would produce a short film. I interviewed family members, friends, surprise guests, and more. I included music with lyrics that fit the various aspects of her life.

The video was funny, touching, lively, and a big success. I did it for one child so, naturally, I had to do it for my other two…and then my nieces bat mitzvahs, and for birthday celebrations, etc.

I would love nothing more than to work with you on a short film that highlights your important someone. Reach out to me anytime and deliver a unique gift that will last a lifetime and beyond.

“Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment
until it becomes a memory”
– Dr. Seuss

The life memories we create often only happen once before becoming bits and pieces of conversations we share with others while the details fade over time. I create short films from those special moments to help you retain those momentous occasions and the essence of the people at the center of them.

My career as a director and producer spans 25+ years and has allowed me to create and produce segments, documentaries, and non-profit videos for NBC, ABC, CBS, MTV, ESPN, and more with subjects ranging from radio legend Howard Stern to baseball Hall-of-Famer Reggie Jackson to Ace Award-winning, “Erase the Hate”, a prosocial documentary promoting inclusion, bridging, and belonging. Though my pieces have led to numerous awards and accolades, my most rewarding work has come from the countless videos I have created for the people I cherish the most, my family.

When my daughter became a bat mitzvah, I produced a short film specifically for her, interviewing family members, friends, former classmates, and surprise guests, incorporating an assortment of old photos and video footage. The film was both lively and touching, and I discovered that this priceless collection of memories was, unquestionably, the best gift I could have given to my daughter. From there, it was videos for my sons’ bar mitzvahs and landmark birthdays for family and friends with each film bringing those respective celebrations to the next level. Music plays an essential role in the videos I produce with the lyrics underscoring the moments being shown on-screen.

From Beethoven to the Beastie Boys, I incorporate the style of music that resonates with the person at the core of the piece. These videos can bring us to tears and laughter as we relive chapters of that special person’s life through story and song making those moments now truly live forever.
